We plan to organize each 12 or 18 months a DAMIN meeting to synthesize the works in progress, to organize the continuation of the researches, to determine what is to publish.
These DAMIN meetings will take place in Europe or in Asia. Several intermediary or bilateral meetings can take place between the main ones.

In 2012, the first meeting (kickoff meeting) took place at the École Normale Supérieure, Paris, on January 13-14, (see video section of the site).The title of the conference was Moneys and Economies during 19^th Century (from Europe to Asia). The proceedings are published in the Moneta collection (www.moneta.be), volume n° 139.

In 2013, A second general meeting will occur at Madrid (Casa de Velazquez), May 16-17 on Transfers of precious metals and their consequences (16^th - 19^th centuries). A meeting will also occur in Asia (Tokyo or Osaka).

All these meetings are open and participants are welcome. The presentations are video recorded and available on the site, to contribute to a good dissemination of the DAMIN program.
